"FORMENTERA, UN PARAISO CERCANO"
El viaje en ferry desde Ibiza es placentero. La luz del mediterráneo, los tonos turquesas, los barquitos dispersos al fondo, la entrada en el puerto de "Las Sabinas". Todo es pequeño, recogido, agradable. Nos alojamos en un apartamento con vistas al "Estany des Peix" donde las casitas son blancas con las ventanas azules y los barcos parecen dormidos flotando en un espejo.
De punta a punta de la isla, no hay más de 17 km. Alquila una moto, o una bicicleta, olvídate de todo y mimetizate con esta bella isla. Yo aconsejo una bici, sentirás la naturaleza, vivirás el paisaje lleno de pinos, sabinas, dunas. Cuando te canses de pedalear, haz una parada y verás una cala donde darte un baño.
Tienes muchas y variadas para elegir. Playa "Illetes", a primera hora de la mañana es espectacular. La arena es blanca y fina, el agua transparente con combinaciones de azul y verde. Tampoco te pierdas una puesta de sol aquí. Otras son, Es Caló, Sa Roqueta y Cala Saona, una de las más bonitas.
Pasarás varias veces por "San Francisco Javier" la mayor población donde podrás encontrar de todo. Tiene en su plaza una iglesia de esas blanquísimas, encaladas. Vete, pero que sea miércoles o viernes, al "Pilar de la Mola" otro núcleo urbano de los seis que tiene la isla. Allí, de 16.00 a 21.00 h y de junio a octubre, podrás disfrutar de un mercadillo hippy. Puestos y puestos llenos de artesanía. Cuando se vaya a poner el sol date un paseo hasta el faro y ve el atardecer desde un paisaje de acantilados.
No te olvides de recorrer el Parque Natural de Las Salinas, reserva marina y terrestre por la riqueza de la biodiversidad mediterránea que presenta. Se ha cuidado especialmente el entorno. Un lujo de paisaje para los ojos.
Todo el ambiente de la isla te hace sentir natural, libre, salvaje. Por cierto, estoy hablando de Formentera, un paraíso cercano...Formentera, una de las islas Pitiusas, anclada en el mediterráneo.

" FORMENTERA, A NEARBY PARADISE "

You have many and varied beaches to choose. Beach "Illetas", you must go there in the early morning. It's spectacular. The sand is white and fine, the water es clear with blue and green combinations. You should not miss a sunset here. Others are, Es Calo, Sa Cala Saona, one of the most beautiful.
You'll be happening often for " San Francisco Javier " the major population where you'll be able to find of everything. There's in his square a church of this whitest, whitewashed. Go, but in Wednesday or Friday, to "Pilar de la Mola" another urban core of the six that has the island. There's , from 16.00 to 21.00 and from June to October, you can enjoy a hippy market.
